The Techniques Of CIP

The principle is to spray the cleaning solution into the surface of the tank, so as to achieve the purpose of cleaning and sterilization. There are three main factors.

The first part.

Cleaning fluid
According to the different ways of using, it can be divided into one-time use and recycling. If single-use is used, the concentration is low and the risk of contamination is small. However, the operation cost is high and the energy consumption is high. This method is usually used on a small scale or where a high level of cleanliness is required. The other is the recycling method used in breweries. The consumption is smaller and the energy consumption is lower. However, the investment is large and requires a lot of space.

The second part.

Cleaning temperature
According to the operation temperature, it can be divided into cold washing and hot washing. Cold washing is usually used for  sort out large tanks, considering the safety of operation. For fermentation tanks, the washing temperature should not be higher than 45℃ under any circumstances. Otherwise, it will damage the fermenter. For small tanks, pipelines, and facilities, hot washing is usually used.

The third part.

Types of cleaning devices
Generally use  sort out machine to clean the tank, the  sort out liquid is sprayed into the surface of the tank, and then the cleaning liquid flows along the tank wall. Usually can form a layer on the tank, the mechanical effect is very small. And mainly through chemical methods to achieve.
