The welding processes commonly used in brewery beer equipment processing and production are as follows:
1. Manual arc welding
Manual arc welding is a welding method in which manual arc welding rods are used for welding. In manual arc welding, the arc generated between the electrode and the workpiece is used to locally heat the electrode and the workpiece to a molten state. The molten droplet at the end of the electrode and the molten base material fuse together to form a molten pool. As the arc moves forward, The liquid metal in the molten pool gradually cools and crystallizes to form a weld.
The manual arc welding of stainless steel is the most widely used and can be used for welding all kinds of stainless steel. Its characteristics are that the heat-affected zone of manual arc welding is small, it is easy to ensure the quality, the equipment is simple, the operation is flexible, and it can adapt to the process requirements of various welding positions and different plate thicknesses. Now, stainless steel electrodes can basically meet the welding requirements of various stainless steels, and there are almost no restrictions on the selection of electrodes.
2. automatic submerged arc welding
Cover the welding arc with a layer of granular meltable flux. A welding method in which the arc light is not exposed. At present, it is mainly used for welding of austenitic stainless steel medium and thick plates. It is characterized by large welding current, large penetration, and small grooves of the workpiece; fast welding speed and high production efficiency; slow solidification of weld metal, liquid metal There is more time for the metallurgical reaction with the molten flux, which reduces the possibility of pores in the weld; the weld is beautifully formed, the working environment is good, the operation is easy, and the requirements for the welder are relatively simple.
3. tungsten inert gas shielded electric welding
Tungsten inert gas shielded welding (TIG welding in English) can be divided into three types: manual welding, semi-automatic welding and automatic welding. In TIG welding, argon tungsten arc welding is quite common in stainless steel. It is suitable for all-position welding, generally does not produce spatter, and the weld seam is beautifully formed.
The welding of stainless steel tanks and stainless steel pipes must be strictly controlled when setting up a brewery to purchase beer equipment. Different working conditions adopt different welding methods to ensure that the welding meets the hygienic standards of beer brewing and reduce the possibility of beer contamination. The correct welding process of beer equipment can also extend the service life and reduce equipment depreciation and maintenance costs.
