More and more brewers are now considering economical hot water supply options, so is a hot water tank or a water heater better?
Based on our experience, we still believe that a hot water tank is a good way to supply hot water.
We know that more and more brewers prefer to include a hot tank in their system. Hot water tanks can recycle hot water (cooling the wort in the first stage through a heat exchanger), which helps save a lot of energy. However, hot water heaters cannot recycle hot water. In addition, the recycled hot water can be used for dosing and secondary saccharification (a mixing station can be added to the brewhouse).
Most brewers now prefer the steam heating method, which is the standard for high-capacity breweries. And the hot water tank can also be heated with steam. Then we see no need to buy a separate hot water heater.
Therefore, it is always a good thing for winemakers who have hot wine tanks. Do you have any other ideas?
I would be glad to hear your opinion.
