How To Clean The Conical Fermenter

  1. The basic method of cleaning the fermenter
    Flush all the foam inside the fermenter with water —–>Cycle cleaning with 2.0%-4.0% alkaline solution for about 30 minutes —–>Flush water to ph value of neutral —–>Cycle cleaning with disinfectant for more than 10 minutes.
    According to the above theory, we can design the following CIP cleaning process.
    1)Alkaline wash + acid wash + disinfection
    2)Alkaline wash + sterilization
    3)Acid wash + sterilization

Attention.

  1. Normally, the washing solution should be discharged every 6-8 weeks.
  2. Washing solution and disinfectant should be checked twice a week.
  3. Check regularly whether the detection accessories of CIP system are working properly.
