Bright Friday – From Our Bright Tank To You, Let’S Enjoy A Beer Together This Friday (Brisbane & Gold Coast Only)

Here’s what I think. There’s been so much bad news this week that we’re trying to brighten things up today (Friday, March 27) the only way we know how (with beer). We have a new dark hop recon series release and Sabro IPA is being sent to cans from Bright Tank today.

We plan to deliver to people on together the Gold Coast and Brisbane via our new supply delivery service. Delivered directly to you from Bright Tank on the same day!

Then on Friday at 7pm Gold Coast time, we’ll have a live phone interview, a tasting from Govs, and a Q&A with the founder of Black Hops. Even if you don’t buy the beer, you can still hop on the Q&A session (link here). You can ask questions in advance via this thread if you’d like.

We are unable to provide shifts for many of our temporary staff and we are doing our best to support them. If you know of any great together companies that offer extra shifts for temporary workers, please let me know,

we have a great team and it would be great to offer them some extra shifts (text me on 0434 152 966).
So far we have been able to hire all full time employees by building together the new service mentioned above and redeploying it to the restaurant and distribution.

Our sales reps are still together working here and available to our customers.

The future is very uncertain, but our goal is to get through it with our business intact, our customers supported, and our team hired.

We also want to get you, the Black Hops community, involved in what we are together doing while so many people are hiding at home and feeling isolated. So, on Friday, March 27, we held a special event called “Bright Friday,”

which coincided with the limited release of the new Scout Series beer, Sapro IPA. That night, we facilitated a live video call that anyone could connect to via the Zoom platform to taste Govs’ new beer and have a Q&A with Eddie, Govs and me.

We got a great response, with the beer selling out in record time and over 50 people on the live call. So while we can’t host a monthly restaurant event, restaurant takeover or brewery tour for a while,

we are still looking for ways to maintain a sense of sharing and community with our customers while needing to keep our distance.

At the beginning of together this year, who would have thought 2020 would be like this? But here we are, as responsible, compassionate people as well as beer lovers, we rally, we adapt, and we do what we need to do to get through it together.

Now, more than ever, we are grateful for your support and we are still here, looking forward to continuing to produce great beer and sharing it with our customers in new ways.

Beer will be available exclusively in 4-packs on Friday mornings together via our Supply Drop Gold Coast same day beer delivery service, but we will make an exception to include Brisbane in Friday’s availability (only if you order Sabro IPA).

Sabro IPA is a 6.8% modern American IPA using American hop Sabro for the first time. with complex fruit and citrus aromas, our addition of obscenely dry hops brings out distinctive citrus,

coconut, together tropical and nuclear fruit flavors. Sabro IPA is a piña colada in a beer glass with a golden color, a slightly hazy finish and a bitter aftertaste.

However, if you prefer to pick up your beer from the brewery, we will be together offering takeaway from lunchtime at both locations.
